Our law firm was founded in Augsburg in 2002 by Jörg Gaißmayer and strategically expanded to Berlin in 2018 in order to connect traditional economic centres with the dynamism of the capital. We do not see ourselves as a traditional law firm, but rather as an agile partner for small and medium-sized businesses. The name "Kollegen" stands for our central principle: the concept of networking.
For each mandate, we put together a tailor-made team from our proven national and international network of solicitors, specialist solicitors, management consultants and tax advisors. This structure enables us to respond to your specific requirements flexibly, efficiently and with the highest level of professional competence. Lawyer Jörg Gaißmayer, specialist lawyer for tax law, brings over 20 years of experience in commercial law and his personal entrepreneurial activity to bear in order to advise you on an equal footing.

Profile: Jörg Gaißmayer
Owner of the law firm
Jörg Gaißmayer is a specialist lawyer for tax law and works extensively in corporate and international tax law. He has also been working in private and public commercial law for more than 20 years.
Mr Gaißmayer studied law in Augsburg and Lausanne. After passing his first state examination, he worked for a German-French law firm in Paris. His legal training took him to various locations, including a law firm in Barcelona. After working as an independent lawyer in Augsburg and as managing director of a tax consulting firm, he founded his own law firm in 2002. In 2018, he opened a branch office in Berlin. Since then, he has been working at both locations.
His practice focuses on national and international commercial law, including contract, tax and insolvency law. In addition, Mr Gaißmayer is the managing director of the law firm Threehands GmbH, based in Berlin, and advises various investments in national and international companies.
Mr Gaißmayer has particular expertise in the implementation of innovative business models and their modelling within corporate processes.
He is a member of the European Associated Lawyers association and therefore has access to an international network of consultants.
